Dear Ex-Crush,

I don’t think liking you was a waste of time, but I don’t think it was a great use of time either. I think that nothing happened because we didn’t know each other very well. At the time, I was kind of sad that you wouldn’t talk to me really and I was too shy to talk to you, but in retrospect, I’m kind of glad that this played out the way it did. I have a feeling that if it had played out the way I wanted it to at the time, I wouldn’t be in the situation i’m in now, and I’m liking this situation. Kind of. It could be better, but at least I know the truth :) Anyway, maybe we’ll have the chance to be friends. That would be cool because you seem like a pretty awesome person.

Hello! How was your day? Good? That’s great to hear :) Mine was too. Do you believe that strangers are just friends you haven’t met yet? Because I kind of do. Are you having a good day? That’s good. I am too:) Anyway, I just thought I’d tell you that I like you. But you’re not going to read this, it doesn’t have a name on it, and I’m old fashioned when it comes to these things, so I’m not going to tell you. I like old fashioned stuff like holding hands and sitting watching a funny movie together. I love being able to talk about anything with you and how you always listen - I know I can talk a lot - even though I can be annoying. I love how you can always make me laugh and smile and I love how we always smile and laugh together. I think it’s awesome how when we’re together you always give me your attention even when there’s a bunch of other people around. I think that it’s adorable how your texts to me always have a smile in them and how outgoing you are.

Anyway. If you do like me - which you might - this is just a heads up…I’ll say yes:)
